Stellar wind refers to the flow of gas particles ejected from the upper atmosphere of a star. Stellar wind from the Sun is sometimes referred to as solar wind.

Universe Sandbox simulates stellar wind only through its effect on an object's magnetosphere. In the Universe Sandbox model, stellar wind is spherically symmetric, and the stellar wind pressure due to a star with a luminosity of L at a distance D from the object is

where c is the speed of light.
