The Select Progenitor action will select the Supernova Remnant that produced the selected Supernova Cloud object.

The Select Progenitor button is located in the Actions section of the Nova tab in the Supernova Cloud's properties panel. This button will not be visible for clouds produced by a Type Ia supernova, which leaves no remnant behind.
