The Galaxy Type property categorizes the 3D structure of the galaxy. In Universe Sandbox, these categories are roughly based on the Hubble sequence.
There are three general types of galaxies in Universe Sandbox: spiral galaxies, elliptical galaxies, and irregular galaxies. Spiral and elliptical galaxies are further divided into subcategories based on their shape.
