Energy Conservation

One of the fundamental laws of the universe that any classical physics simulator, including Universe Sandbox, must follow in order to be able to reproduce realistic motions and collisions is the conservation of energy. In simulation, energy can be neither created nor destroyed, so the total energy in the simulation must remain constant. However, energy may be transferred from one type of energy to another. For example, some of the kinetic energy of two colliding objects may be used to heat the objects.
